I love ho they are sequential and basically recounts one of the greatest opening sequences of any film ever. I loved the scene in the temple, the nervous finger tick before the idol and the boulder. So beautiful, animated gifs 4life. I can never get enough of them.

Scottlo, Thx m8!

The S4 gives me manual control over 4 different channels. Not only the levels, but an EQ, a pitch fader, and a whole wack of effects (reverb, delay flanger etc). I would say the ability to adjust tempo on the fly, and the S4's beat matching ability are the most powerful and essential tools for DJing.

The crossfader is the main control for fading left to right channels, but there are also 8 programmable 'slots' that I can save samples into and play 'one shots' at key points in the set. I am not accomplished enough to use this with much effect at this point.

Suffice it to say, for mixing audio this machine/software was designed to do it

Thanks for listening and indeed, I hope we can continue to inspire and teach each other! :)

Thanks for sharing the picture of our studio. The Kontrol S4 looks like an amazing piece of equipment. Does it give you manual control to trigger and adjust levels of audio files on your computer? I'm finding it impossible to crossfade two or more files with just one mouse pointer!

I too was horrified of speaking live into the microphone the first few times out on ds106 radio. Like you, I recorded and edited my stopsets (which were actually short dull scripts read aloud). I think I've attempted to follow your trend toward being more spontaneous as more air time gets accumulated.

It still doesn't seem easy, but it sure is fun. Seems that this has potential to become something like a real radio school (teach and learn from your peers).

In terms of inspiration, I rather thought it was the other way around. Is it okay if we compromise and call it mutual?

Keep up the good work. Your sets are a good listen.
